Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain hotel/resort in a clean and orderly manner. Clean guest accommodations including in-room kitchens, living rooms and bathrooms; clean conference facilities, hallways, and public areas; remove, sort, fold, carry and replace linens; make beds; replenish supplies, arrange guest and meeting room furniture, pictures, and amenities; sweep, mop, vacuum, shampoo carpets, dust, clean/polish mirrors and windows; dispose of refuse. Upon request, delivers items such as fresh linens, towels, soaps, and paper products such as toilet paper and tissues to guest rooms. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week, 5-day schedule varies Sunday through Saturday. Normal shifts: 8am-4:30pm, 9am-5:30pm. Shifts include 30 minutes unpaid break time. Workdays, hours, and shift times may vary with occupancy. Employer may increase wage based on experience, market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Incentives may be offered for guestroom comments/name mentions and perfect cleanliness scores. One meal per shift is provided at no cost. Employees receive hotel travel room discounts. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $28.50 per hour. Workers are responsible for their own daily transportation to and from the worksite. Worksite is accessible by public transportation.
