- Offer description:
Workers will perform pool and spa maintenance including cleaning pools and spas with rakes, nets, brushes, and vacuums; skimming the surface; cleaning out skimmer and pump baskets; vacuuming floors; brushing walls and steps; and disassembling and cleaning pool filters with a water hose. Duties include cleaning filters, checking filter pressure, and backwashing as needed; performing pressure washing and sand changes on sand filters; completing thorough weekly maintenance to ensure chemical balance by checking chlorine (or salt), pH, and alkalinity levels weekly and adjusting chemicals properly; refilling pool chemical bottles as needed; and working each week to remove a section of calcium buildup when applicable. Workers will check all equipment to make sure it is working properly and immediately report to management if something is not performing properly, if there is a leak, or if there are any concerns with the pool or pool equipment. Workers will leave a door hanger with activities performed and any relevant notes for the owner, close out completed jobs in the app immediately after finishing each pool, fill out forms at all commercial sites (and notify management if new forms are needed), and notify management if “plus chems” jobs require additional chemical deliveries. Workers will ensure safety and security by closing and/or locking all gates upon entering, exiting, and completing work; operating the company vehicle safely; and keeping both the cabin and bed of the truck clean and organized. Additional duties include warehouse maintenance, such as cleaning and organizing the warehouse space; ensuring all tools, equipment, and materials are in their designated areas; and disposing of waste, debris, or unused materials in compliance with safety protocols, using brooms, mops, dustpans, cleaning agents, and waste disposal bins. Workers must also keep the work station and shop in neat working order.
