Temporary Housekeeping Service Attendants will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, and indoor common areas at client properties, which includes but is not limited to vacuuming floors, dusting, laundering and replenishing linens and towels, removing trash from units, stripping units of soiled linen, disinfecting bathrooms, washing windows, reporting lost and found items to Management, assisting in maintaining storage closets, performing weekly service checks, emptying trash, lint traps, and vents. Occasional use of company utility vehicle or company automobile weighing no more than 8,000 lbs. and holds less than 15 passengers to assist with transporting tools and other necessary items within the worksite location in order to perform duties. Other duties as assigned which are related to general functions of housekeeping and cleaning responsibilities which include, walk all assigned buildings or floors to ensure all are free of linen, trash or equipment. Move furniture as directed, make guest deliveries as directed. Assist in linen inventories which includes sorting and cleaning of dirty linen/terry. Fold or iron clean linen/terry and deliver linen/terry supply bags to units. As related to duties already listed, employees may operate a company vehicle or utility vehicle weighing no more than 8,000 lbs and holding fewer than 15 passengers; the make or model may vary. These vehicles may be used to deliver linen/terry (defined as towels, washcloths, bath mats, etc.) and basic cleaning tools (e.g., vacuums, brooms, mops, rags) to guest rooms or units, all within the employer's worksite or resort campus. Guest deliveries (e.g., towels, pillows, bathroom or kitchen items) may be made on foot and do not require vehicle use. Employees with valid driver's licenses and company approval may occasionally transport other workers to or from work, only between the worksite and employer-provided optional housing. Temporary repositioning of in-room furniture (e.g., nightstands, chairs, beds) may occur during cleaning; standard back-support belts or dollies may be used if needed. "Service checks" refer to cleaning of in-unit guest laundry appliance lint traps and air conditioning or heating vents located within guest rooms or units. These functions are not performed in commercial laundry or maintenance facilities.
