Assist with the installation and maintenance of irrigation (water sprinkler) systems or general landscaping tasks using hand or power tools or equipment. For irrigation systems, workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: digging, backfilling soil with hand shovels, raking, seeding, grading, watering, and debris cleanup as part of the installation or service process. Measure, cut, thread and assemble new pipe, placing the assembled pipe in hangers or other supports.Excavate and grade ditches, and lay and join pipe for water and sewer service. Additionally workers may perform a variety of traditional landscaping tasks as part of landscape installation or maintenance tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, mulching, weeding, raking, gardening, edging, leaf removal; installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Workers will load/unload equipment; clean and maintain equipment/tools when not in use and ensure proper storage at end of day.
