The Landscaping and Groundskeeping Worker is responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of residential and commercial outdoor areas. Duties include mowing, edging, trimming, weed-eating, hedging, and blowing leaves and debris using hand tools and power equipment. Workers must operate all equipment safely and follow established safety protocols at all times. Essential Duties: Mow, edge, trim, weed-eat, hedge, and blow properties to maintain a clean and manicured appearance. Utilize hand tools (rakes, shovels, hedge trimmers) and power equipment (mowers, edgers, blowers, string trimmers) in a safe and proper manner. Follow all company safety procedures, wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), and identify/report unsafe conditions. Maintain lawns by removing debris, clearing leaves, and assisting with basic grounds cleanup. Assist with mulching, planting, watering, fertilizing, or basic landscape maintenance tasks as needed. Perform routine equipment inspections, including checking fuel, oil, and blade condition, and report maintenance needs. Work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift/carry tools, materials, and equipment as required.
