"Chip barrel at end of day." Workers must be certified and pass a respirator fit test, lung exam. They use a mallet or hammer to chip hardened or loose concrete on the outside of the barrel of the mixers "Aid in the maintenance of the ready mix operation. Preventative maintenance including conveyors and parts on mixer trucks." Workers shovel excess sand and stone under conveyor belts and make sure conveyors are free from any obstruction. Workers also clean plant area floor from obvious walking hazards. They will remove and replace parts on mixer truck when cleaning, chipping, and touch up painting. • “Operate front-end loader.” Workers will be trained on use of loader as needed and will load and unload trucks with materials used at the plant when necessary. "Misc. projects - helping around the yard as needed." Washing of concrete trucks, stacking and organizing of concrete masonry block, bagged products and spare parts for trucks and plant. Shovel, chipping hammer, grinder, paint, paint brush (rollers).
