Provincetown LSOM EMP LLC, dba Provincetown Inn seeks Line Cooks, 6 openings, Temporary full-time positions from 4/1/26 to 10/31/26 in Provincetown, MA. Line Cooks: will prepare meals and food items following the standard Hotel’s recipes using hot and cold cooking techniques and with a minimum amount of supervision. Responsible for cooking tasks, including: read food slips, wash, cut, portion, season and cook menu items including and not limited to soups, salads, sides and entrees according to instruction and direction from Chefs and management. All cooks at Provincetown Inn must also wash dishes, pots, and pans from time to time during periods when no dishwasher is on duty. Must be comfortable to use all kitchen equipment, i.e. slicers, mixers, food processors, stoves, broilers, steamers, grills, fryers, ovens, kettles, knives, etc. Must be able to lift and carry food and kitchen supplies weighing up to 40 lbs. No experience necessary; will train. Workers will be paid no less than $21.52 per hour. Overtime hours may be available at a rate of $32.28 per hour. Generally, min. of 35 hours per week, on average 7 hours per workday and 5 workdays per week. Weekends and holidays required. Various shifts required, but covering 6am-10pm daily. Conditions of employment for H2B and U.S. workers: 1. Initial transportation to begin the seasonal/peak employment (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence will be at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. 2. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. 3. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. 4. The employer will use a single work week for computing wages starting each Friday at 12:00 am and ending Thursday 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid weekly. 5. H-2B workers will be reimbursed during the first workweek for subsistence, visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs, by company check. 6. Optional, voluntary dormitory style housing available, first come first served while available, at a cost of $150 per week (not deducted from payroll). 7. Employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law.
