Cape Cod Commercial Linen Service, Inc. seeks Laundry Associates 10 openings, Temporary full-time positions from 04/01/26 to 11/30/26 in Hyannis, MA. Laundry Associates: Assist Laundry Supv. w/shift operations, which include ensuring customers linens are processed in order and on-time, working w/commercial cleaning machines and related technologies to assist operations, sort, treat, wash, dry, and fold linens while ensuring consistent quality standards and adherence to departmental procedures. Load and unload washers and dryers following safe lifting, pushing, and pulling practices. Arrange sheets, duvet covers, and table linens for ironing. Separate stained linens that require additional treatment. Feed clean, dry bath towels into the towel folder. Perform detailed tasks requiring visual acuity, such as reading equipment instructions, chemical labels, identifying different types of linen, and spotting stains and damage. Utilize non-verbal auditory cues such as alarms and buzzers. Will use industrial/commercial operational software. May use company vehicle for unscheduled deliveries. Must possess a valid U.S. DL or eligibility to drive in the U.S. If requested, employer will reimburse for motor vehicle record checks as well as the cost of taking MA DMV, eye, written, and road exams. Must be able to stand for over 8 hrs. daily and perform activities including reaching, grasping, lifting/carrying, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs. Six (6) months experience in an industrial /commercial laundry facility. Workers will be paid no less than $21.27/hr. Returning workers and workers w/more experience may be paid higher wage rates up to $35.00/hr. OT hrs. may be available at a rate ranging from $31.91 to $52.50/hr over 40 hours. Generally: min. of 35 hrs/wk, on ave. 8 hours/workday and 5 workdays/week. Weekends and holidays required. The workday is typically 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Conditions of emp. for H2B and U.S. workers: 1. Initial transp. to begin the seasonal/peak emp. (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of emp. will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the emp. The amount of transp. payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Return transp. will be provided if the worker completes the emp. period or is dismissed early by the emp. Daily subsistence will be at least $16.28/day during travel to a max. of $68.00/day w/receipts. 2. H-2B workers will be reimbursed during the first workweek for subsistence, visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs, by company check. 3. The emp. will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. 4. The employer guarantees to offer work for hrs. equal to at least 3/4 of the workdays in each 12-wk period of the total emp. Period. 5. Daily trans. is not provided to the worksite. Public trans. is available locally. Shared cars, bikes, etc. 6. Employer will use a single work wk. for computing wages starting each Wed. at 1200 am and ending Tues. at 1159 pm and the emp. will be paid wkly. 7. Optional, voluntary, limited, lodging, first come first served while available, for a fee of $160/week including utilities (cost of housing payroll deducted if worker elects). 8. All Hired workers (incl. H-2B and U.S.) must complete comp. app. and pass standard background investigation, which is paid for by the employer and conducted after offer and acceptance and prior to commencement of emp. 9.
