Inspect, determine, and safely remove nonconforming items from shredder conveyor to meet consumer specifications (primarily nonferrous metal and/or debris). Clean recycling yard by sweeping, raking, landscaping, picking up errant debris, moving barrels and bins, replacing environmental protection devices like catch basin filters, sorbent booms, and trench drains. Performing touch-up painting and cleaning of bins, concrete structures, conveyers, structural supports, and framing for all processes and plants. Clean, inspect, or lubricate recyclable collection equipment or perform routine maintenance or minor repairs on recycling equipment, such as star gears, finger sorters, destoners, belts, pulleys, rollers and grinders. Conduct maintenance support in regular maintenance processes like minor equipment repair, equipment attachment swaps, belt changes, hose changes, and filter changes.
