Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain hotel/resort in a clean and orderly manner. Duties may include making beds, removing and replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, in-room kitchens and bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Dust and polish furniture. Clean floors using a broom or mop. Clean mirrors and windows that can be reached by standing on the ground. Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. The employer will offer a minimum of 35 hours of work per week. Open 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. Multiple 7-hour shifts between 9:00am - 6:00am. Sample shifts: 9am– 4pm, 12pm-7pm, 5:30pm-12:30am, 11:30pm-6:30am. Optional 30-minute unpaid meal break is not included in shift times. Workdays, hours, and shift times may vary based on business levels. Employer may increase wage based on experience and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure or may increase wages based on changes in market conditions. Bonuses and incentives may be available but not guaranteed. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $22.50 per hour. The employer will provide daily transportation from employee housing to and from the worksite locations.
