Assist in the production of roof and floor trusses. Assemble roof and floor trusses according to set specifications. Lift and lay out lumber, nail and remove jig blocks from table, hammer connector plates, load, unload, and stack. Insert metal plate connectors by pressing into place using a gantry roller. Inspect all materials for defects and if needed repair or replace defective pieces. Work with hammer, hammer holder, utility knife, nail gun, stapler, and hand press. Work primarily with lumbar components ranging from 2x4 inches to 2x12 inches in width and up to 20 feet in length. Must adhere to all safety protocols and keep work areas clean at all times.
