Greet and assist customers, ring up goods using a cash register or calculator, and bag purchases. Receive payments, process credit card transactions, issue change or receipts to customers, stock shelves, mark prices on items, and count money/payments in cash drawer to tally receipts. Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas, and assist with other general cleaning duties as needed. Bag, box, wrap, assemble merchandise and prepare packages for shipment or sale. May work in climate controlled areas.
