Duties may include: Take orders from hotel patrons, serve food and beverages. Collect payment from customer. Remove dishes from tables, clean tables, and prep for meals. Maintain clean eating area. Must become familiar with menu items, follow serving etiquette and food handling instructions & other related Waitstaff activities as per SOC/OES 35-3031 (onetonline.org). Multiple possible shifts: 6:30AM-10:30AM or 4:30PM-10:00PM. Standard/Expected Schedule: - 6:30AM-10:30AM or 4:30PM-10:00PM. Offering 35+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. 6:30AM-10:30AM OR 4:30PM-10PM, MON-SUN, WORK 5-6 DAYS/WEEK. WORKDAYS/SHIFTS/HOURS MAY VARY. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable). Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed). Employees will work all hours in a tipped occupation, and the employer will comply with the requirements for taking a tip credit under FLSA Section 3(M). Employees will be paid a cash wage of $8/hour, and the employer will take a tip credit of $8.83/hour. Overtime cash wage is $12/hour, and the employer will take a tip credit of $13.50/hour. Employees are guaranteed to earn the prevailing wage per hour in every workweek considering their cash wage plus tips. In any week that an employee does not make enough in tips to satisfy the tip credit, the employer will make up the difference.
