Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain hotel/resort in a clean/orderly manner, clean guest room accommodations, conference facilities, halls, and all public area spaces following established schedules, using prescribed methods and following performance and safety per the housekeeping standards. Duties may include making beds, removing and replenishing linens, cleaning rooms, in-room kitchens and bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Dust and polish furniture. Clean floors using a broom or mop. Clean mirrors and windows that can be reached by standing on the ground. Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Empty wastebaskets/remove trash. The employer will offer 35 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week, 5-day work schedule varies Sunday through Saturday. Normal shift times: 5am-12:30pm, 7am-2:30pm, 9am-4:30pm. Shifts include 30 minutes unpaid break time. Workdays, hours, and shift times may vary with occupancy. The employer may increase wage based on experience, market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. One meal during shift will be provided at no charge to the worker. Overtime may be available with management approval. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $24.00 per hour. The employer will provide daily transportation from housing to and from the worksite.
