The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning guest rooms by making and turning down beds, removing waste from rooms to disposal area; replenishing supplies such as linens, drinkware, writing supplies and bathroom items; vacuuming carpets, mopping floors, and dusting furniture; cleaning bathrooms and public areas such as hallways lobbies, lounges elevators and stairways ensuring that health standards are met; Carrying linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts; keeping storage areas and carts well-stocked and organized; Sanitizing equipment and supplies; Observing necessary precautions required to protect guest property; reporting damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors; Sorting, counting, and marking clean linens and storing them in linen closets; Greeting guests encountered during shift with a friendly smile.
