Duties may include: As a member of the lodging team, a Front Desk Representative will operate the hotel/motel front desk and assist guests with inquiries. Efficiently manages the operations of the front desk, ensuring minimal time for check-in and checkout. Warmly and professionally welcomes all guests. Directs guests to appropriate hotel staff for assistance with questions and special requests. Handle guest issues as they arise. Treats requests with professionalism, tact, and courteous manner. Ensures prompt delivery of final bills to guests. Ensures lobby and shared areas are kept neat and orderly. Make and answer telephone calls. Maintains knowledge of hotel policies including room rates, discounts, special offerings, and events. Maintains knowledge of upcoming events, local area, and hotel offerings. Assist guests in making reservations or providing recommendations. Run reports for hotel & other related Front Desk Representative activities as per SOC/OES 43-4081 (onetonline.org). Multiple possible shifts: 6:30AM-3:00PM or 2:45PM-11:00PM. Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-3:00PM or 2:45PM-11:00PM. Offering 35+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. 6:30AM-3:00PM OR 2:45PM-11PM OR 11PM-7AM;MON-SUN, WORK 5-6 DAYS A WEEK; WORKDAYS/HOURS MAY VARY. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable).
