Serve/deliver food and beverage products to resort guests; assist with opening/closing of restaurant/catering events food and beverage areas; complete pre/post meal duties, set-up/tear down/clean work station and tables; prepare side work; escort guests to tables, present menus, take guest orders, describe/make suggestions of menu items and daily specials, verify drinking age requirements of patrons purchasing alcohol, enter orders in point of sale system, inform kitchen of any special requests, serve/deliver food, drink, condiment items and present check to guest, clear table, clean, vacuum, sweep assigned work area, take phone reservations and to-go orders, greet and seat guests. The employer will offer 35 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week, 5-day work schedule varies Monday through Sunday. Normal shift times vary, including: 6:30am-1:30pm, 11am-6pm, 2pm-9pm. Optional 30-minute unpaid meal break is not included in shift times. Other day and evening shifts possible/may be required. Workdays, hours, and shift times may vary with occupancy, and weather. Basic wage rate of pay from $12.37 to $17.00 per hour. Restaurant Server: Tipped position with basic wage rate of pay: $12.37 per hour. Allowed tip credit applied per FLSA guidelines to meet offered wage. FLSA tip credit taken as follows: direct wage from $2.13 to $4.50 per hour plus tip credit from $7.87 to $10.24 per hour to make the guaranteed rate of $12.37 per hour. Employer guarantees the offered wage for hours worked when allowed tip credit does not make hourly wage equal or exceed the offered wage of $12.37 per hour. Banquet Server: Basic wage rate of pay: $17.00 per hour. The employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Meal discounts are available to employees. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at a rate from $18.56 to $25.50 per hour. Employer will provide an optional bicycle for daily transportation to/from the main worksite.
