Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Mow, trim/edge, plant, lay sod, weed, water, rake, blow leaves and debris, spread straw, haul/spread topsoil; use a hand shovel to dig holes (up to 24 inches depth and 36 inches in width) for installing plants, bulbs, flowering plants, grass, trees, shrubs, or irrigation systems; spread seed, fertilize, mulch, aerate; works on the ground to prune or trim trees, shrubs, or hedges using shears, pruners, trimmers, axes or saws; core aerating; sprinkler installation/repair, installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units, rock gardens, fences, etc. Decorate landscaping using stones and plants. Set-up golf course changing hole cups, placing tee markers, pins and hazard stakes, marks hazards and out of bounds areas, filing and repairing divots, maintaining sand bunkers, and caring for turf fields. Gather and remove litter. Maintain grounds, cart paths, sidewalks, fountains, planters, parking lots, structures such as fences or benches, and maintain equipment to ensure clean, fueled, oiled, inspected, proper functioning and stored properly. May drive a golf cart or other company vehicles to transport work crew, plants, materials and tools to/from worksites. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week, 5-day work schedule varies Sunday through Saturday. Normal shift times 5:30am-1:30pm, 6am-2pm. Optional 30-minutes unpaid meal break time is not included in shift times. Other day shifts possible/may be required. Workdays, hours, and shift times may vary with occupancy, and weather. The employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Meal discounts are available to employees. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $27.80 per hour. Employer will provide an optional bicycle for daily transportation to/from the main worksite.
