Duties may include: Under the direction of a supervisor, determine appropriate schedule and formulas to be used that day for spraying based on environmental factors and customer needs. Drive vehicles equipped with power spraying equipment to service addresses, perform on-site inspection of insect pest activity, and notify customers of pertinent job information for their location. Mix and fill sprayer tanks with pesticides according to formula and operate spray equipment. Spray designated areas as outlined in work order using proper application techniques and procedures. Use provided tools and software to keep accurate records of treatments provided as well as communicate with office staff regarding customer feedback, findings, and equipment issues. Assemble and post signage on site after spray treatment is completed. Operate and clean vehicle and assist senior staff in maintaining equipment used in chemical treatment and operations, including various types of spray apparatus & other related Pest Control Technician activities as per SOC/OES 37-3012 (onetonline.org). Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:00PM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable). Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed). Piece rate may apply. Daily base pay of $50 with an additional $5 per stop. Performance standard of 33 stops per day required. Technician on average can complete 35 stops per day. Wage will not fall below minimum prevailing wage rate as outlined above.
