Preparing for events: Set tables with forks salad forks knives, fold napkins, place water glasses. Set up for a buffet: place table cloths, decorations, and serving dishes. Serve a plated dinner: salads, dinner, clear plates, refill glasses water, serve dessert and coffee. Also pass hors d’ oeuvres if required on event to guests. Clean up after every event, breaking down tables. Wash all dishes and assist chefs with cleaning all pots and pans silverware. Put everything away after being washed. Types of foods that the employee will be precooking: Employees will work chopping vegetables, prepping and plating salad, peeling potatoes, prepare and grill proteins including steak, beef and chicken. They will be cooking street tacos, grilling cheeseburgers and hot dogs, and cooking BBQ chicken. Workers will assist serving plated dinner plates for example a chicken dish with a vegetable and starch such as mashed potato. Cooking and preparation of food and decorations will take place in the certified commercial home site kitchen at 17 Walker Way, Albany, NY. The food and supplies will be transported to multiple locations including as examples banquet halls, clubs, schools, event tents, and businesses within the counties listed in this 9142. Our drivers will transport the food and supplies in our company box truck and on-site will use carts, hand trucks and proofers with wheels to move items from trucks to the setup site.
