Duties may include: Under direct supervision Mix mortar, plaster, and grout, manually or using machines. Erect scaffolding or other installation structures. Provide assistance in the preparation, installation, repair, or rebuilding of tile, brick, or stone surfaces. Remove excess grout or residue from tile or brick joints, using sponges or trowels. Apply grout between joints of bricks or tiles, using grouting trowels. Remove damaged tile, brick, or mortar, and clean or prepare surfaces. Correct surface imperfections or fill chipped, cracked, or broken bricks or tiles & other related Helpers Brickmasons activities as per SOC/OES 47-3011 (onetonline.org). Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable). Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed).
