The Pool Construction Laborer assists with the physical tasks required for the construction of swimming pools, working under the direction of skilled workers. Responsibilities include preparing and cleaning construction sites; loading, unloading, and moving materials such as stone, dirt, concrete, and equipment; and operating basic tools and equipment including shovels, spades, brooms, wheelbarrows, electric jackhammers, grinders, and mini track loaders. Laborers will dig trenches, perform demolition, and assist with placing and securing reinforcement materials and PVC piping using general hand tools, PVC glue, and hydraulic cement. Workers will support the installation process by mixing, carrying, and supplying mortar, thin-set, plaster, and other materials, and will assist skilled workers by holding, positioning, and preparing tile, coping, and plaster materials for installation. Duties involve general site clean-up, material staging, and performing basic tasks that support the construction of concrete pool shells, structural elements and plumbing components.
