- Offer description:
***RFI response*** Installation Support Duties: Insulation Helpers assist experienced insulation installers during residential and commercial insulation projects. Workers perform manual, supportive tasks such as staging insulation materials, positioning ladders, handling hoses connected to insulation equipment, and passing tools and supplies to qualified lead installers. Helpers do not independently apply spray foam or install insulation materials. All insulation applications are performed by separately qualified lead insulation workers. Material Handling and Preparation: Workers load, unload, and transport insulation materials, including spray-foam components, fiberglass batts, and related supplies, by hand or with basic material-handling tools such as dollies and hand carts. Helpers prepare work areas by moving materials into position, opening packaging, and organizing supplies so that lead installers may perform insulation work efficiently. Equipment Assistance: Insulation Helpers assist with the setup and breakdown of insulation equipment under direct supervision. This includes positioning hoses, monitoring material flow as directed, and cleaning equipment after use. Workers do not operate, calibrate, control, or adjust spray-foam machinery or other specialized insulation equipment. Site Cleanup and Safety: Workers maintain cleanliness of the worksite by collecting debris, excess insulation materials, and packaging for proper disposal. Helpers follow all safety requirements and use required personal protective equipment while performing tasks only under the direction of supervisory personnel. Warehouse and General Labor Tasks: When not assigned to active job sites, workers may perform general warehouse labor such as organizing insulation materials, counting inventory, and assisting with basic housekeeping tasks. These duties are manual in nature and do not involve supervisory authority or skilled trade functions. ***Original*** Assist in the installation of spray foam insulation in residential and commercial buildings, including attics, walls, and crawlspaces.
