Workers will assist in the installation of landscape elements such as trees, shrubs, sod, mulch, decorative rock, and ground cover, construct and install temporary and permanent irrigation systems, including mainlines, lateral lines, valves, heads, and controllers. Workers will read and follow landscape and irrigation blueprints/plans under the direction of the supervisor, load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to job sites. Workers will assist with grading, trenching, backfilling, and compaction as needed for planting and irrigation work and operate basic hand tools and landscape equipment (shovels, rakes, compactors, wheelbarrows, etc.). Workers will maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company and OSHA safety standards and support other team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Workers may be asked to drive company vehicles in order to move equipment and materials if the worker has a valid driver’s license.
