Take orders and serve food and beverages to patrons at tables in dining establishment. • Check patrons' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages. • Check with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems. • Clean tables or counters after patrons have finished dining. • Collect payments from customers. • Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods. • Fill salt, pepper, sugar, cream, condiment, and napkin containers. • Garnish and decorate dishes in preparation for serving. • Inform customers of daily specials. • Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, tidying up server station, taking out trash, or checking and cleaning bathroom. Clean & keep work station clean which may include, washing dishes, glassware, or utensils • Perform food preparation duties such as preparing salads, appetizers, and cold dishes, portioning desserts, and brewing coffee. • Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes. • Prepare hot, cold, and mixed drinks for patrons, and chill bottles of wine. • Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware. • Present menus to patrons and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request. • Remove dishes and glasses from tables or counters, take them to kitchen for cleaning. • Serve food or beverages to patrons and prepare or serve specialty dishes at tables as required. • Stock service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens. • Take orders from patrons for food or beverages. • Write patrons' food orders on order slips, memorize orders, or enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff. Job opportunity for up to 11- Waiters/Waitresses, Full-time, temporary positions available for the dates of April 1, 2026, through November 7th, 2026. 40 hours/workweek. Must be over 21 years of age. Most travel arrangements will be made coming to Minneapolis MN and employers will also provide transportation from there to worksite. The Wage offer is $13.95 per hour If employee works overtime, they will receive $20.93 per hour in overtime pay. on the job training if required will be provided to employees. Employer will use a single workweek for its standard in computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly. Shared housing available onsite @ $100 per week – or employer will assist in locating housing @ $100 per week, Housing not a condition of employment. Employer will make all deductions from the workers paycheck required by law. Rent will not be deducted from paycheck. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68 per day with receipts. The employee's lodging is within walking distance to work so transportation to & from work is not needed. The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing.
