Greets and initiates conversation with guests. Takes initiative to answer guest questions and/or resolve guest complaints. Uses sales techniques to upsell and add-on to transactions. Handles cash and credit card transactions accurately and proficiently. Operates a point of sale and/or scans tickets. Maintains cleanliness and safety of rides, ropes course, ticket center and surrounding work areas. Ensures guests are the appropriate height, weight and age to participate. Enforces restrictions and recommendations to ensure safe operation of the attraction. Participates in daily inspections and completes checklists on all equipment, elements of the ropes course and rides. Assists guests, as trained, with loading and exiting the attraction, particularly small children and guests with disabilities. Ensures guests are correctly secured by pulling down on safety bars, buckling seat belts, and/or securing harnesses prior to placing the ride in motion. Knows and understands the RCI Adventure Products operator’s manual. Uses proper terminology for all elements and sections of the ropes course. For example, Sky Trail, Sky Rail, Sky Tykes, Quick Flight, Emergency Take Down Kit (ETK), Redundant Slide Assembly (RSA). Follows Standard Operating Procedures at all times. Explains safety and evacuation procedures to guests when necessary. Inspects attractions for wear and tear; reports findings to Manager on Duty. Keeps eyes on the ride at all times when it is in motion or on guests at the ropes course. Removes disorderly or sick guests from the ride. Follows all SMOWI handbook policies. Other duties, as assigned.
