*** RFI Response *** The types of vehicles driven by workers in the occupation are standard passenger vehicles, which includes most cars, vans, and light trucks. A specialized license designation is not required to drive vehicles. The vehicles are used to transport landscaping crews to and from worksites throughout the day as well as transport the necessary tools and equipment needed to perform job duties at the worksites. The types of tools and equipment may include: • hand tools, such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, saws, hedge or brush trimmers, or axes. • powered equipment, such as mowers, leaf blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws. *** Original F.a.2 *** Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, planting, mowing, trimming, mulching, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, edging, weeding, cleaning up debris, and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Must exercise independent judgment and may be asked to demonstrate tasks to other employees. Will assist with maintaining time sheets/records for their crew. May drive crew vehicles.
