Clean and prepare outdoor swimming pools for seasonal operation. Remove, fold, and store winter pool covers. Assemble swimming pool filters; fill pumps with water as needed. Backwash and vacuum swimming pools; brush and skim pool surfaces. Power wash pool surfaces and decks using appropriate cleaning chemicals. Remove debris and waste materials from pool areas. Test and balance pool water chemistry (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, etc.) to ensure proper clarity and sanitation. Add and adjust chemicals as necessary to maintain safe water conditions. Maintain pool facilities, and equipment in clean working order. Monitor swimmers and maintain a safe aquatic environment at all times. Enforce pool rules and respond quickly and effectively to emergencies. Provide first aid, CPR, or other emergency assistance as required. Conduct regular safety inspections of pool decks, rescue equipment, and surrounding areas. Maintain detailed records of pool chemical levels, safety incidents, and maintenance activities.
