Employer is a resort and hotel located in the Tampa area of Florida. Employer maintains two restaurants, a poolside bar and grill and a lobby café. Food items are prepared in one of the commercial kitchens within the resort and club. Dishes are made to order and if needed buffet oriented due to events. • Cook food over heat, garde manger & prepare dishes in a sanitary & timely manner. • Cook on the line, prepare sauces & soups. • Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, rotating stock, taking inventory & restock items as needed throughout shift. • Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters. Assists with cleaning, sanitation and organizing of kitchen, walk-in coolers & all storage areas. • Sets up, cleans & maintains station in time for service.
