Landscaping installation relating to: golf course, athletic fields, and parks. Workers typically perform tasks which may include any combination of the following: hand trenching relating to sprinkler system installation that are about 10-12 inches deep and 6-8 inches wide. Worker also dig shallow V-shaped drainage canals for run-off water, with some grading with gravel or loose rock. The trenches or drainage canals are not reinforced with steel and do not use any concrete or mortar. Additional landscaping duties that are performed are installation and removal of plants, trees, and shrubs. Worker also use sprinklers and hoses, as well as small landscaping hand tools. Workers also perform landscaping duties such as: planting/sodding/seeding, watering. Loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Lifting required up to 50 pounds. Work performed on local area jobsites with employer provided transportation to and from the jobsites from a centralized pickup location in the specified area of employment. Installation of segmented mortarless pavestone includes the following duties: preparing installation site of walkways and sidewalks with hand shovels, with sand or small rocks as a base and between the pavestones; Pavestones are installed by hand without the use of cement or mortar; and projects involving installation of segmented mortarless pavestone are usually performed in conjunction with landscaping projects.
