Duties may include: Under direct supervision, fill and mix sprayer tanks with water and chemicals according to established formulas. Choose nozzles, spray apparatuses, and move hoses to properly operate spray equipment. Spray insect treatment, fertilizer or weed control over designated areas using standard operating procedures. Engage with customers regarding specific instructions for their location. Use provided tools and software to navigate to scheduled jobs, keep accurate records of treatments provided, as well as communicate with office staff. Aerate and seed lawns. Drive or operate vehicles and powered equipment such as work trucks with small utility trailers, power spraying equipment, ride on or walk behind aerators, fertilizer, or seed spreaders. Gather and remove litter and debris. Clean and maintain vehicle and equipment & other related Residential Spray Applicators activities as per SOC/OES 37-3012 (onetonline.org). Standard/Expected Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30AM-5:00PM. Offering 40+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable). Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer’s sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed). Employer will assist workers in locating and securing optional housing. If optional housing is agreed upon by the worker, housing rate is to be paid directly to the landlord.
