***RFI Response*** The employer will be providing pizza, French Fries, funnel cake. Tools: Gas deep fryers; gas grills; food warmers, knives, tongs, potato cutter, can opener. The pizza is placed on the upper counter, under heat lamps and then a worker who would be working the front counter would then: Slide the pizza down to the lower counter. Using a Pizza Cutter the worker would cut the pizza and: Either place the whole pizza in a box, and deliver to the customer that ordered the custom pizza; or Place individual slices on paper plates, and then slide those plates into the heated display case. The worker would pour prepackaged frozen fries into a fryer (similar to what someone would see at any other fast food establishment), when the timer goes off the basket raises itself automatically to drip the hot grease back into the fryer, then the worker when the second buzzer sounds, would pick up the basket with gloved hand, dump onto a tray, sprinkle with salt, and place into the appropriate container (medium, large or family sized). Continual cleaning of the work area during the shift and at the end of the day. Puttin supplies into refrigeration – or discarding. Are part of the duties. The workers would stand in front of the specific unit they oversaw operating. On one side of the unit there would be the raw materials (funnel cake batter). A portion of the batter would be taken from the container mixed in and scooped using a large ladle into the funnel cake pourer. The batter would be poured slowly into the basket, in one general location, so that strings of batter would cling together. When one side of the funnel cake is brown, the worker would use a large spoon (to drain grease) to flip the half-cooked funnel cake. When the funnel cake is fully cooked its placed into a tray to allow the excess grease to drain while keeping the funnel cake at a proper serving temperature. ***Original F.a.2*** Perform a variety of duties at traveling carnival, assembling, disassembling & operating equipment (amusement rides and/or food concessions) May sell tickets & collect fees from customers; provide information about the facilities, rules and regulations; direct patrons to rides, seats or attractions; monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures; provide assistance to patrons entering or exiting amusement rides; clean rides, booths, facilities or grounds; inspect equipment to detect wear and damage and perform minor repairs, adjustments, or maintenance tasks, such as oiling parts; fasten safety devices for patrons, or provide them with directions for fastening devices; and sell and serve refreshments to customers.
