  Duties include installation of trees, shrubs, or flowers in the appropriate design pattern, unloading materials, digging holes for root systems, properly covering the holes, building mulch beds, preparing soil for sod installation and sometimes sod laying, planting grass seed or connecting irrigation. Workers may gather and remove litter and operate powered equipment. Duties may also include mowing, trimming, pruning trees, shrubs and plants, watering plants and lawns, plant transplanting, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation and installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. All the trimming/pruning will take place on the ground. The workers will not perform any pruning or trimming activities above ground level.
