***RFI Response*** Line Cooks play a vital role in delivering exceptional food quality and ensuring customer satisfaction inside of our fast food restaurant. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing food to exact specifications, setting up stations, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This position requires teamwork, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to food safety and quality. Responsibilities: ● Set up and stock kitchen stations with necessary supplies. ● Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, handling raw chicken, and preparing sauces). ● Line Cooks primarily work on pressure fryers to cook the majority of menu items, including chicken sandwiches, nuggets, and tenders, which are all cooked in refined peanut oil. They may also use a dedicated fryer for French fries and other additional cooking equipment depending on their station. ● Cook menu items efficiently and accurately in cooperation with the kitchen team. ● Follow instructions from leadership to ensure food quality and consistency. ● Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workstation and handle leftover food appropriately. ● Stock inventory and ensure proper storage practices. ● Deliver high-quality meals promptly while adhering to food safety standards. ● Maintain a positive, team-oriented, and professional approach with coworkers and customers. ***Original F.a.2*** Line Cooks are expected to prepare food to the exact chefs specifications and to set up stations for menu. Line cook duties will consist of assisting the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals. Responsibilities: Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces) Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff Answer, report and follow executive or sous chefs instructions Clean up station and take care of leftover food Stock inventory appropriately Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
