The Food and Beverage Assistant Server/Busser supports efficient restaurant, bar, banquet, and room service operations by delivering prompt, courteous service and ensuring guest satisfaction. The worker takes customer food and beverage orders, serves items in a timely and courteous manner, and prepares itemized checks for payment. The worker greets and escorts guests to tables, sets up and clears tables for cleanliness and proper place settings, serves customers seated at counters, and assists with banquet and buffet setups. The role may also operate a cash register, process payments, and verify the identification of patrons to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcohol service as needed.
