Set up/clear tables, welcome guests; prepare and serve food and beverages; accept/process payments from customers; scrape/wash/sort dishes and silverware; restock supplies/empty trash; clean kitchen equipment/ work surfaces; sweep/mop floors; arrange tables and decorations according to instructions; set tables with clean linens, china, glassware, condiments and other supplies. Staff will arrange chairs ensuring spacing is even, aisles are clear, and seating matches the plan. Staff will install decorations such as candles, signage, buffet decor, and prepare serving stations. Staff will also adjust house lights, set candles/lanterns, ensure decor aligns with the event’s mood. Tools and equipment needed involves table cloths, napkins, floral arrangements, decorative pieces, candles, lanterns, string lights, or batter lights. Use Step ladders (for hanging decor safely), tape scissors, clips, pins for securing items. Use serving ware which includes platters, chafing dishes, & beverage dispenser. ensure that food is presented and served properly. Food and beverage employees are responsible for beverage preparation. Coffee is made using a professional grinder to prepare beans, then it is brewed using our commercial coffee system. Sweet tea is brewed and sweetened in house. Orange and Apple juice is prepared using concentrate. We also provide canned sodas when requested by the client. The tools used for these duties include gloves, aprons, serving utensils, chafing dishes with fuel, trays, and cleaning cloths. Non cooking food preparation tasks include assembling cracker platters, arranging dessert displays, plating meals, stocking service areas with utensils, napkins, plates, and condiments, and properly wrapping, labeling and storing leftovers. Must have basic understanding of hospitality service role and ability to follow instructions and have neat clean appearance. On the job training provided; entry level; requires supervision.
