  Job duties: Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Clean and prepare sites, Dig ditches or trenches, backfill , or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, or rakes. The tools that the employee would use to dig trenches is a generic shovel and rake, and the trenches are generally 4" to 6" in depth and are approx. 3' x 5' in length. The purpose of the trench is to place dirt and grass seed. Clean up debris and other waste material. Assists other craft workers. Works directly under the close supervision of crew leader.
