  Construct paver patios, walkways, steps, retaining walls, and related structures including setting fiberglass pool. Cut paving stones to size and for edges, using a wet or demo saw. Prepare job sites by grading, excavating, compacting, and backfilling materials. Install base materials, edging, and drainage systems. Use equipment including skid steers, compactors, and concrete saws. Read layout plans, grade stakes, and interpret measurements. Occasionally install fence in residential homes while doing hardscape. Dig post holes with shovel, set posts, aluminum, galvanized or pvc in gravel and portland, erect fence sections. Ensure safety and quality control on site. May operate company vehicles.
