Laundry workers-workers will mark articles, sort, wash, dry, iron, fold and wrap clothes and linens. Workers will load, remove and process laundry and dry cleaning. Will sort items according to their supervisor's instructions: operate or tend washing or dry-cleaning machines to wash or dry-clean industrial articles, such as tablecloths, draperies and fine linens; workers will prepare the same for pick up. Using wheeled carts with cleaning supplies, worker will clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Dust and polish furniture and equipment, empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, transport other trash and waste to disposal areas, move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses, prepare rooms for meetings and arrange decorations, media equipment, and furniture. Replace light bulbs, replenish supplies. Request repair services and wait for repair workers to arrive. Sort clothing and other articles, load washing machines, iron and fold dried items. Sort, count, and mark clean linens and store them in linen closets. Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware. Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. No experience/education. See attached addendum
