Job Duties: • Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, dusting and vacuuming, change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed; perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed; stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis; dispose of trash and recyclables; respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner; maintain cleanliness of rooms, hallways, ballrooms and other areas of the hotel; identify and report preventative maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Help set up and break down ballrooms. Perform other housekeeping duties to include but not limited to cleaning windows and exterior of buildings as required based upon the needs of the property and guests. • 20 openings. Employer will offer a minimum of 35hrs/wk. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain or drought may affect working hours. Example of scheduled shifts: 8a-3p & 4p-11p. scheduled shift and workdays vary. Rotate/split shifts. • Wage: Minium $14.66/HR based on merit and experience. Overtime hours over 40 hours/WK, if available is paid at 1.5 times the base rate at $21.99/HR. • Additional compensation such as raises and bonus may be available based on individual factors including tenure, experience/skills and work performance. Other Conditions / Special requirement • Pay bi-weekly. • Monday through Sunday. • Weekends & holidays are required • Min. 1 month hotel/resort housekeeping experience is required. • Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary • No on-the-job training is provided. • No Education is required. • Supplies, work tools, equipment & logoed uniforms are provided free. • All deductions required by law will be payroll deducted. • Optional daily transportation to/from work may be provided at $50/wk. and maybe payroll deducted. • Employer will payroll deduct and written preapproved deduction requested by employees. • Possible shared voluntary housing provided by the employer or optional 3rd party housing may be available on a first come basis at $150/wk and payroll deducted biweekly. Housing deposits and/or a $300 nonrefundable admin/cleaning fee may be required if staying in housing. Deposit is due to moving in. Housing deposit will be reimbursed in full if there is no damage and repair costs to housing and furnishing. If elected to use optional housing, all employees are required to pay their last month's rent which is equivalent to $600.00 at the time of checking in to the housing. • May be required to work outside, push housekeeping cart outside between buildings, and may drive a golf cart.
