Prepare and serve simple foods such as sandwiches, salads, pizza, coffee, tea and fountain drinks according to food safety guidelines and sanitary measures. Clean equipment, scrub and polish counters, organize service areas. Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary. Assists with accepting customer payment and making change using a cash register; stocks retail area, takes inventory of food/beverage, equipment and supplies. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week, 5-day work schedule varies Sunday through Saturday. Normal shift times: 6am-2:30pm, 8am-4:30pm, 2pm-10:30pm, 3:30pm-midnight. Shifts include 30 minutes unpaid break time. Workdays, hours, and shift times may vary with business needs. Employer may increase wage based on experience, market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $22.50 per hour. The worker is responsible for their own daily transportation to and from the main worksite. Employer offered housing is within walking distance of the main worksite.
