Directly supervises food and beverage team members throughout meal service and set up. Checks all specifications for that day of operation and ensures it is accurately set up and communicated. Follow all sanitary laws and regulations, as well as company policies regarding proper cleaning and safe food handling. Communicate effectively with staff members, management and kitchen during service. Ensures that all guests have a memorable experience filled with hospitality and exceptional service. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Open 7 days a week, 5-day work schedule varies Sunday through Saturday. Shift times vary including 4am-12pm, 6am–2pm, 8am–4pm, 10am-6pm, 12pm-8pm, 2pm-10pm, 4pm-12am, 6pm-2am. Other 8-hour day and evening shift times possible/may be required. Workdays, hours, and shift times may vary with occupancy. Basic wage rate of pay from $22.00 to $23.00 per hour. Food & Beverage Supervisor (Banquet and Banquet Setup) – basic wage rate of pay $22.00 per hour. Service fee position with cash wage paid at $9.00 – $15.00 per hour plus a percentage of the service charge fee for banquets. Allowed service fee credit applied per FLSA guidelines. The employer guarantees offered wage in any given workweek when service fee compensation does not make hourly wage equal to or exceed $22.00 per hour. Food & Beverage Supervisor (Restaurant) – basic wage rate of pay: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour, based on schedule of restaurant supervising. The employer may increase wage based on experience, changes in market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a half after 40 hours per workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $33.00 per hour to $34.50 per hour. The regular rate will be computed by adding together total earnings for the workweek from all sources, excluding tips received in excess of the tip credit, then dividing that number by the total hours worked in the workweek. If the regular rate exceeds $22.00 to $23.00 per hour, the employer will pay the difference between $22.00 to $23.00 per hour and the regular rate during an overtime week. The employer will provide daily transportation from employee housing to and from all worksites on Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Optional medical and dental insurance is available.
