*** RFI Response *** 1. Type of equipment worked on include heavy equipment such as bulldozers, concrete plant, asphalt plant, crushing plants, large diesel generators, excavators, paving equipment, graders, tractors, cranes, concrete pumps, loaders, tractors, fork lift, vibratory & static compactors, hydraulic breaker, aerial lifter. 2. Specific Task involved: Safety inspection of heavy equipment (Item 1) prior to operation; lubrication & fueling of heavy equipment as needed; operation, cleaning and overall maintenance of heavy equipment. 3. Tools include grease guns, power washer, small air compressors, wrench, pliers, misc. hand tools as needed. 4. Techniques: Operate heavy equipment used in civil and building construction in a safe, efficient & productive manner. Operate heavy equipment used in excavation of soil and rocks, placing and compaction of fill materials, mixing and placing concrete and asphalt materials on runways and roads. Operate load handling equipment to lift construction materials. Operate loading equipment, operate aggregate crushing and washing equipment. Operate soil spreading and grading equipment. Operate pump truck to place concrete on buildings. Operate crane used in building construction. *** Original F.a.2 *** Operate multiple types of power construction equipment, such as motor graders, bulldozers, scrapers, compressors, pumps, derricks, shovels tractors, or front-end loaders to excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structures, or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement.
