***RFI Response*** The food items this employer offers are prepackaged and pre-made. Shaved Ice Cones & Pretzels. Tools and equipment: Snow Cone Machine, plastic cups, spoon, straws, ice, flavored syrups, toppings as fruit pieces, candy, gummies, tajin, oven, baking sheet, pastry brush and light heater, etc. The employee will pour the ice into the snow cone machine and turn it on, later the workers will collect the finely shaved ice into the cups and lightly pack it down to create a dome shape. Once the cup is filled with shaved ice, the employees will drizzle syrup generously over the top of the shaved ice. As per customer’s request the employee may add toppings such as fruit, gummies, tajin, etc. Once the snow cone is completed, the worker will add a straw or spoon and napkins and hand it to the client. The pretzels come pre-packaged. The employee removes pretzel from packaging, lightly moisten the top of each pretzel with water using a pastry brush and sprinkle salt and/or sugar. The employee will place the pretzel on a baking sheet and leave for 4 to 6 minutes until heated through and slightly golden. After the oven rings and pretzels are ready, the employee will brush warm pretzels with melted butter or sprinkle cinnamon & sugar as per client’s request ***Original F.a.2*** Perform variety of attending duties at mobile food concession. Arrange tables and decorations according to instructions. Communicate with customers regarding orders. Accept payment from customers. Serve food, beverages or desserts to customers. Prepare daily food items and cook simple foods and beverages using proper safety precautions and safety measures. Clean & organize eating, service, and kitchen areas. Perform cleaning duties to keep equipment and facilities sanatory.
