***2nd RFI Response*** Prepare corndog batter using the provided recipe; insert stick into hotdog and dip into batter. Place on tray freeze. Put frozen corn-dog in fry basket, lower into deep fryer. When done, lift fry basket out of hot oil, and allowed to drip; wrap in wrapper. Utilizing knives and slicers, raw potatoes are cut according to instructions, placed in fry basket and lowered into deep fryer. When done, the fry basked is lifted out of the hot oil, and allowed to drip. Fries are placed under heat lamps on plates or boxes. Prepare batter using the provided recipe; insert wrapped paper sticks into candies/cookies; and dip into batter, place on tray and freeze. Place frozen candy in fry basket and lower into deep fryer. When done lift fry basket out of oil, and allow to drip. Wrap fried candy into wrapper. Sugar and Flossine are placed in cotton candy machines. While the sugar is spinning, a cotton candy cone is used to lift the spun candy out and into cotton candy bags, tied and hung. Popcorn seed, oil, and salt are placed into commercial popper. The unit produces fresh-popped popcorn. Popcorn is scooped into popcorn bags/boxes. Prepare funnel cake batter using provided recipe. Ladled batter into dispenser, release batter into hot oil in fryer. When done funnel cake is removed using a slotted flat spatula and allowed to drain; then placed on paper plate and sprinkled with confectioners’ sugar. Utilizing knives turkey legs are trimmed and prepared using proper safety measures. Meats are seasoned with prepared spice mix and placed in the smoker. Temperature in the smoker is regulated to ensure proper temperatures are met and maintained. Meats are checked using an industrial meat thermometer to ensure the meats are done to safety guidelines. Following simple specified instructions: Set up-take down booths by opening awnings, putting up signage and flags utilizing a ladder, hammers and screwdrivers. Takedown will use the same tools in reverse order of setup. All required tools are provided. Stock booths with food items or prizes and equipment according to a provided check list. Using basic cleaning supplies and following proper safety precautions and sanitary measures cooking utensils are washed and put away. The interior of trailers is cleaned; ensure all items are cleaned and stored in a specified safe manner for transportation. Attend and Maintain equipment by following simple specified instructions for equipment utilized. Check for any food service equipment not working properly and report to maintenance personnel for repair or replacement. For example, watch for damage to electrical cords and report issues as needed. Assist patrons in getting into rides, inform patron to fasten belt, bar, or other safety device. Ensure safety at all times. Operate the control console to start and stop the ride. Attend games by explaining the rules of the games, assist in playing the games (such as handing a patron a ball to throw or ring to toss), retrieving and providing prizes for winners at games. ***Original Duties*** Perform a variety of attending duties at amusement or recreation facility. Sell and collect tickets/fees, assist patrons; erect, take down, operate/attend amusement booths and maintain equipment; rides and games; make change; sell and serve food. Provide assistance to patrons entering or exiting amusement rides. Maintain inventories of equipment, storing/retrieving items and assembling/disassembling equipment as necessary. Monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures. Prepare food such as corn dogs, French/curly fries, twinkies, snickers and cheesecake, cotton candy, popcorn, funnel cakes, prepare turkey legs for the smoker. Set up - stock/clean and ready for service, tear down - pack up stock and close down booth, heavy lifting and physically mobile, operate amusement rides, games and concession booths.
