  • Cook food over heat & prepare dishes in a restaurant in a sanitary & timely manner. Will cook on the line, prepare sauces & soups. Ensure freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, rotating stock, taking inventory & restock items as needed throughout shift. • Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters. Assists with cleaning, sanitation and organizing of kitchen, walk-in coolers & all storage areas. Sets up, cleans & maintains station in time for service • Ability to learn & read new menus and follow recipes, portion controls & presentation specifications.
