***RFI 2 Response*** The type of Skid Steer used is a Bobcat S185 with standard bucket attachment. Expected use of this equipment is less than 5% of the time ***RFI Response*** The tasks that workers will perform in conjunction with "stacking and moving snow from properties; cleaning up ice melt and salt if needed; and using some small pieces of equipment such as skid steers, snow blowers, ATVs" includes using shovels to move snow and snow buildup by hand from sidewalks and walkways, being provided with S0lb bags of icemelt to spread on sidewalls and walkways after snow has been moved and piled away from walkways and sidewalks. After removal, return to locations where snow was removed to reapply and spread ice melt by hand during periods of below freezing temperature. Duties further include using walk-behind spreaders to aid in evenly spreading snow melt and cleaning up by piles of salt and snowmelt at the end of season by hand using shovels. The equipment, materials, and tools used to perform these tasks include: shovels, buckets, icemelt bags, walk behind ice melt/salt spreaders. For larger areas and long sidewalks small stand-on salter trucks are used (Boss Snowrators), as well as snow blowers. Skid steers with standard bucket attachment are occasionally used to pile shoveled snow into larger piles, only in instances where snow build-up is too great (several feet). All equipment is operated on private land and/or adjacent walkways and sidewalks only. Workers will not use vehicles or trucks with a snowplow attached to the front of the vehicle to remove snow. ***Original F.a.2*** Duties include manual labor related to snow removal from doorways, pathways, walkways, or private parking lots. Including: shoveling snow, spreading ice melt or salt, stacking and moving snow from properties; cleaning up ice melt and salt if needed; and using some small pieces of equipment such as skid steers, snow blowers, ATVs, etc.
