To expedite entails moving food from the kitchen to various on-property service locations (restaurant, bar, catered events, buffets), verifying the food’s appearance, temperature, accuracy, and portioning, and ensuring timely delivery to maintain service flow and guest satisfaction. Employees will use serving pans, trays, dishware, utensils, serving spoons, chafing dishes, oven mitts, and push carts. Transferring and pulling pans refers to buffet replenishment, primarily during breakfasts and catered events, all held on property. Employees monitor food quality (temperature, safety, appearance, and quantity). When items no longer meet standards, they are pulled and replaced with fresh pans. Employees will use serving pans, trays, utensils, chafing dishes, oven mitts, and push carts, used for safe and efficient food handling and replacement. There is no delivery or transport to offsite locations, and no vehicles external tools are used. All food handling and transport is done on property only. Cooks will be responsible for preparing meats, seafood, vegetables, and other items required for line and special function purposes by grilling, sautéing, frying, and cooking at correct temperatures, following recipes when preparing items, assisting with preparation of other food products, using safe and sanitary food handling procedures, rotating stock, maintaining a clean work station, equipment, kitchen, and employee meal area, disposing of trash and food preparation waste, and cleaning and washing all related pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and glassware. Expedite, transfer and pull pans of food as needed to restaurant, bar, catered events, and buffets.
