- Offer description:
As a nanny, your primary duties will involve engaging the children in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities that promote their development and well-being, supporting their educational, emotional, and physical growth. You will be responsible for monitoring their safety during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring a secure environment, and managing emergencies if they arise. Additionally, the role includes assisting with homework, as well as organizing schedules for playtime, school, and appointments. Effective collaboration with parents is essential to align with childcare approaches and provide updates on the children’s progress and well-being. While supervising the two older children after their school dismissal until the parents return from work, the nanny will oversee their homework and independent study. The nanny will also inform the parents of any necessary school supplies and ensure the children’s uniforms are prepared for the next school day. These responsibilities will provide the children with stability after school, allowing them to remain in a secure and structured home environment until their parents finish work at 6:00 PM. The nanny’s household responsibilities will be strictly related to the children’s care. These duties include keeping play areas organized, tidying the children’s rooms, doing their laundry, and ensuring their belongings are well maintained. Furthermore, light housekeeping related to the children’s care, such as maintaining their play areas and tidying the children’s rooms, is also expected. The nanny’s role does not extend to general housekeeping or tasks unrelated to the children’s care.
