Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers must be able to perform a variety of tasks without close supervision, which may include any combination of the following: sod laying, planting, watering, digging, raking, assists with installation/maintenance of sprinklers and mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units. Must exercise independent judgment; may be asked to demonstrate tasks to other employees but the position does not include supervision of other workers. The employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Normal schedule Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm. Shift includes 30 minutes unpaid break time. Work on Saturday/Sunday may be required. Workdays, hours and shift time may vary depending on weather conditions. Basic rate of pay $18.26 per hour. Employer may increase wage based on experience, market conditions, and/or provide additional pay for performance and tenure. Overtime may be available. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours in a workweek. Generally, when overtime is available it will be paid at $27.39 per hour. Employer will provide on-the-job training. A single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Workers will be paid weekly. The employer will provide worker at no charge all tools, supplies, uniform, and equipment required to perform job. Optional Daily transportation provided between housing and the main worksite at no charge to the worker. The employer will then provide daily transportation among multiple worksites in Travis and Williamson Counties, TX at no charge to the worker.
